Andrea Repetto, Visiting Assistant Professor, is Professor of Economics at the School of Government of Universidad Adolfo Ibez and Assistant Professor at the Center for Applied Economics of the University of Chile. Her research interests focus on consumption and savings decisions. She has also studied the impacts of government programs in Chile such as Social Security, unemployment insurance and school vouchers. She has served as a member of the Presidents Council on Social Security Reform and on the Presidents Council on Labor Market Reform. She is the President of the Chilean Unemployment Insurance Overseers Board. She received her BA and MA in economics from Universidad Catlica de Chile and her PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
