Zooming in President Ma's Agenda
Discuss the future of Taiwan's economic relationship with China following the May 20, 2008 inauguration of Ma Ying-Jeou with Taiwanese senior and mid-level government officials. A short presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.
Participants working in the following organizations will be present to share their opinions: Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Finance, Economic Affairs, Transport and Communication, Intellectual Property Office, Council of Labor Affairs, Fair Trade Commission, Department of Health, Agriculture etc.
The discussion will be ‘Off the record'. Opinions expressed will not represent the official positions of the Taiwan government nor the organizations in which the participants work.
